1. Cookies on this website
A cookie is a small text file that your browser stores on your computer, tablet or phone the first time you visit our website.
We use two types of cookies on ubiqu.com:
- Functional cookies: these make sure the website works properly, for example by remembering your settings. We also use them to keep improving the website and the services we offer through it.
- Analytical cookies: these help us understand how visitors use our website, so we can keep improving it. We use them for two things: Google Analytics gives us general insight into visitor behaviour on the site, and TAM Tracker tool name tells us which companies visit our website, based on IP address. This second tool works at company level only and does not identify individual visitors.
Managing your cookie settings
You set your cookie preferences the first time you visit our website, and you can change them at any time through the cookie settings on our site. Non-functional cookies are only placed after you have actively given permission, and you can deny them per category.
Legal basis
- Functional cookies: we place these based on our legitimate interest in making sure the website works properly. They do not collect data we could use for marketing or other purposes, so this does not conflict with your privacy.
- Analytical cookies: we only place these with your consent. You decide whether we may use them, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Google Analytics gives us a better picture of how visitors use our website, so we can improve the user experience. This processing takes place in the United States.
TAM Tracker shows us which companies visit our website, based on IP address. It does not build profiles of individual visitors.
3. Google Analytics
Our website sets a cookie through Google Analytics. We use this service to see how visitors use our website, and Google provides us with reports on this.
Google may share this information with third parties if legally required to do so, or where third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. We have no influence over this. You can read here how Google uses your data: https://business.safety.google/privacy/
A few specifics on how we use it:
- We have a data processing agreement with Google.
- We do not use Google Signals.
- The collected data is not linked to other Google services.
- Your IP address is anonymised, so your location cannot be traced.
4. Third-party websites and changes
This cookie statement does not apply to third-party websites linked from ours. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your data as carefully as we do, so always check their own privacy statement before using their website.

This cookie statement can change. When it does, we will ask for your permission again for any new or changed cookies.

5. Accessing, adjusting or deleting your data
You have the right to:
- access your personal data,
- ask us to correct your data,
- ask us to limit how much of your data we process,
- ask us to remove your data,
- have your data transferred to someone else, and
- file a complaint (see section 6).
Questions or requests can be sent to boris@ubiqu.com. To make sure a request really comes from you, we may ask for a copy of your ID. You can black out your photo, MRZ (the number strip at the bottom of your passport), document number and citizen service number on that copy. We aim to respond as soon as possible, and always within four weeks.
6. Right to complain
If you have a complaint about how we process your data, we would like to hear it directly first, so we can sort it out together. Send your complaint to boris@ubiqu.com.
